The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Driveline Controls team are responsible for the control of the 4x4 system on all platforms. The department is growing to meet the ever increasing complexity of the 4x4 systems to meet the fuel economy and market leading performance requirements. The team is a diverse, dynamic and interesting working environment. The Driveline Integration Development Engineer role is a practical role supporting the team with the following: Vehicle Test support,
Vehicle Preparation,
Vehicle Debug / Fault Finding / Software updates,
Co-ordination of vehicle shipping,
Hardware in the Loop testing,
Performing electrical tests on a vehicle with oscilloscopes and other development tools.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
We are constantly searching for talent, for the right candidate we are prepared to up-skill where required. The successful candidate will need to be degree educated and able to demonstrate they have a solid understanding of electrical principles, time management skills and the following behaviours; flexible, proactive and self-motivated.
Desired experiences are:
Experience of working with real-time electrical/electronic systems.
Experience of working with complex electro-mechanical / electro-hydraulic products.
Experience of troubleshooting system issues on vehicle or on rig/HIL tools.
Good degree in electrical / electronic engineering, control systems, computer science or a relevant related discipline.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The Driveline Integration Development Engineer should have the following skills:
Appreciation of vehicle networks, particularly CAN and CCP/XCP,
Appreciation of the integration challenges associated with complex electro-mechanical / electro-hydraulic systems.
