The Role:
Working as part of a small research team to deliver developments and technologies into advanced suspension systems (such as active suspension and active dampers)rese for new vehicle programmes

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A knowledge of vehicle suspension systems and current developments in active suspension and active dampers (Magneride and CVD). Experience of project management - able to lead delivery of research projects.
Extensive experience of development of adaptive damping and suspension systems and experience of vehicle dynamics and ride and handling. Ride attribute experience, experience of suspension tuning for driver acceptability and experience in project managing delivery of component to vehicle programme
Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and preferably Hybrid vehicle architectures
Must have a full UK driving licence

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink for modelling and rapid prototyping of vehicle controls Knowledge of CARMAKER CAE package"
Minimum of a first degree in Automotive/Electrical/Mechanical Eng.
