The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Thermal Test & Methods Development Engineer (Calibration Lead); responsible for the preparation, test and data analysis of prototype vehicles across a variety of vehicle programmes. In addition to this, the role involves the development & evolution of the Testing Methods we use, both for the cases we currently cover and those new areas we identify as needing covering in the future.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Proven fleet manangement and XCL T&D experience in climatic facilities, track testing and in-market (without further training) vital to role.
Also a working knowledge of Thermal processes, calibration software & protocols, workshops and departments is important to this role.
Experience of Thermal CWT/HET testing along with a detailed knowledge of vehicle CAN, diagnostic etc systems critical.
Willingness to work flexible hours to cover CWT shift patterns where required.
Experience of Thermal and/or Cooling whole-vehicle test work with proven results delivery.
Previous vehicle test and/or Calibration experience is core to this role

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
The ability to analyse and condense large amounts of test data (without detailed mentoring) along with a good team-working approach to tasks.
Ability to cascade information to rest of T&D team and programme PAT leaders.
