The Company:
Our Client is multinational oil & gas company in Indonesia is seeking potential candidates for Development Project Risk Specialist (National Only)

The Role:
Role synopsis

Role Intent:

• Facilitate independent assurance of risk management activities
• Escalate any identified issues with risk register or risk action plan
• Report progress against the risk action plans.
• Develop and update Risk Management Plan
• Develop a risk aggregation process to enable the reporting of risks at the appropriate level

Key accountabilities

Discipline Leadership

• Develop and maintain the risk action plan for the GPO entities within AsPac Region
• Report progress against risk action plan.
• Engage technical authorities and subject matter experts in challenging the risk register and action plans.
• Provide independent verification and assurance of consistent reporting of the GPO regional risks.
• Support facilitation of quarterly and monthly risk reviews by GPO regional leadership team.
• Ensure integration between S&OR, GWO, GPO and GOO as related to TEP risk management

Technical Practices

• Secure final agreement and endorsement of risk action plans
• Represent GPO - TEP in regional risk management process
• Transfer of risk register into PMCS
• Lead periodic reviews of TEP risk register (quarterly or semi-annually)
• Responsible for all GPO related Risk reporting

Summary Decision Right

• Provide input / challenge to develop consistent risk register
• Provide input / challenge to develop consistent risk action plans
• Provide input / challenge to the strength of the barriers identified for managing risks
• Provide input to emerging risk classification

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• HSSE or Engineering Leadership/Management experience in an operating business.
• Knowledge of Risk Management Systems in Upstream business
• Knowledge in assessing, developing, implementing and maintaining risk based assurance programs.
• Advanced qualification in an HSSE or Engineering subject and professional accreditation, or equivalent.
• Strong influencing and change management skills
• Demonstrates business rigour and judgment
• Hold Indonesia Citizenship

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Overseas working experience would be beneficial
• A degree in a management or engineering discipline preferred
• Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) or the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) Chartered Professional Bodies would be beneficial.
• Proven track record as a strong team player.
• Personal commitment and proactive approach to HSE.
• Knowledge in field survey activities, especially in the remote area, logistics, contractor management, offshore installation & construction and project early work activities (e.g. equipment inspection).
• Experience in Behavior Based Safety, Control of Work, Incident Investigation and emergency response and preparedness.
• Knowledge of oil industry and HSE Management System.
• Preferably a certified HSE Professional (i.e. NEBOSH certification)
