The Role:
Work closely with Development Studies Project Lead to ensure that all multifunctional support is available for successful Project delivery.
Work closely with Development Planning to jointly plan scope and timing of functional support which will be required for Development Studies to deliver the Projects.
In sustainable manner Establish good working relations with the Company Departments (other than Development Planning & Studies) and Directorates (other than Technical Directorate) functions which have required expertise to ensure their timely and quality input into Project delivery activities.
Jointly with Development Planning plan and execute any external engineering consultancy support which may be needed in addition to expertise available in the Company. Support Development Lead to supervise and coordinate work of such external Consultancy to ensure work done as planned.
Contribute in reviewing existing concepts, development studies, and designs for previous study activities and existing asset designs.
Participate (and coordinate as necessary) in the company integrated teams (surface & subsurface) to progress the development studies from Preliminary studies phase to concept selection.
Provide input to the Venture Reference Plan.
Contribute to integration of new technologies as instructed to add economic value to field development in liaison with company Technology Advisor.
Support Development Lead to ensure that studies are performed in line with NCSPSA CMS procedures, HSE policy and permitting requirements.
Prepare studies reports in time and in detail to the stakeholders and concerned parties.
Assist in preparation of study presentations to Management.
Prepare various documentation and study records as directed for handover of studies to Agent Company.
Participate in company internal validation of studies through the relevant Quality Reviews and Committees.
Coordinate group activities and members in the absence of Supervisor as may be directed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree MSc or equivalent level ( 5 years ) in engineering or subsurface related discipline
Demonstrable experience (min 5 years) and proven track record in oil & gas engineering and development
Previous experience and familiarity with RoK and/ or other Caspian projects highly desirable.
6-8 years minimum of experience, including assignments to operational positions in subsidiaries and deep knowledge of one or two subsurface and/or surface trades.
Good knowledge of the different aspects of production and exploration, particularly the process of appraisal and development of reservoirs
Good knowledge of the process of project maturation including planning, budgeting, resourcing, reporting, reaching milestones, approvals and project handover.
Wide technical knowledge
Ability to identify, analyze and resolve complex technical / commercial problems and to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Full understanding of importance in planning and executing projects in the Oil & Gas busi
