The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Diagnostic Systems engineer responsible for the delivery of the Tester-in-the-Loop facilities project will be required to lead the technical delivery of a bespoke automated testing environment targeted at verifying the integration of on-board diagnostics with the off-board diagnostic test tools used in manufacturing and service during the build phase. This role will begin with technical leadership of the facility delivery project itself and mature into leading operations of this facility for cross car line activities.
The successful candidate for this role will also be required to support specific investigations into Diagnostic Systems RFT issues during later build phases from onwards. Key responsibilities for this role are: TIL operations>"

1. A high level of diagnostic communication protocol knowledge
2. Stakeholder management of a external suppliers and internal customers
3. Highly competent in creating, managing and delivering to project plans

Experience Required:
"Experience of generating system requirements and managing supplier delivery to meet the requirements Proven understanding of diagnostic protocol and ability to use diagnostic trace files to investigate system failures Experience of managing complex problems involving multiple supplier partners Ability to deliver specific tasks to strict timescales in a product launch environment"

Education Required:
"Degree level qualification preferred but not required Full EU driving license"

Additional Information :
Role will be Gaydon based with travel required to other UK sites to support vehicle programme and project activities
