The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
To lead the Digital Marketing strategy for our client, including the development, content creation and design strategies for all websites, global social media channels and mobile applications. This role will also work closely with regional marketing teams to define and support digital marketing campaigns and activities for a positive business return.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• Provide leadership and formulate appropriate plans to develop a class leading digital strategy – meeting both business objectives and optimising brand awareness.
• To appoint and manage agencies to support website development and design projects.
• To manage and justify the usage of the Digital Marketing and development budget.
• To work with in-house web design and web development resource to support the launch of new products with the production of effective digital experiences.
• To work across business areas to ensure our client's digital presence appropriately reflects and satisfies their requirements.
• To line-manage two Digital Marketing Executives and direct their workload across all Digital Marketing projects.
• To work with regional marketing teams to ensure that translated and regionally specific content is up to date and maintained according to regional requirements.
• To work with regional marketing teams to ensure Digital marketing spend is used effectively and is commensurate with the wider digital strategy (PPC & Display).
• To manage and lead the development of the dealer website platform and ensure dealers are actively engaged and satisfied with the services provided.
• To manage the social media engagement strategy with specific reference to their Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google+ presences.
• To support the wider Marketing team by delivering digital support for assets and campaigns produced both internally and externally.
• To manage the production of all email creative both for central, regional and dealer campaigns.
• To work with dealers to define the requirements for digital marketing support and content syndication and then deliver to support the showroom experience.
• To work closely with the CRM Manager to ensure Digital Marketing aligns with their wider customer communications strategy.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience of analysing, defining and implementing a Digital Marketing strategy.
• Experience of managing web development projects and ensuring design, development and content workstreams deliver against deadlines.
• Experience of website content management and production including the use of a Content Management System.
• Experience in all Digital Marketing channels (SEO, PPC, Display, Email).
• Experience in web analytics and reporting (including Google Analytics).
• Experience in defining an effective social media strategy across multiple channels.
• Advanced knowledge of web architecture with capability of influencing technical development strategies.
• Ability to adapt and maintain HTML and where appropriate CSS and JavaScript.
• Ability to manipulate imagery with Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience of budget and agency management.
