The Role:
WORK DESCRIPTION:
In the current phase f, the following points will be critical for the Structural Lead:

1. Maturing the substructure.
2. Coordinating and following up discipline-related studies.
3. Ensuring that the structural deliverables are according to Company requirements.
4. Understanding the importance of the multi-discipline interfaces with special attention to the Marine Operation, Mooring system and WTG requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all structural engineering is performed in line with the scope, authority regulations, project specifications and standards, and according to discipline budget and schedule.
• Ensure that the substructure and ancillary structures/systems are developed and aligned with best practice and leading advisors in the base organisation.
• Establish scope of work packages for studies related to substructure.
• Follow up subcontractors on their studies related to substructure and report as required.
• Communicate on interfaces with other disciplines and establish interface matrices for own discipline
• Contribute to a cost-effective design wrt design, fabrication and installation.
• Contribute with discipline input to the coded documents as requested
• Participate in the evaluation of tenders for FEED.
• Assist in the preparation of the ITT documents for the execution phase

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Relevant Masters Degree i.e. marine structures, construction.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Extensive experience from design and engineering related to offshore wind and/or offshore floating structures.
•Experience basis to understand complex marine behavior of the substructure and mooring system and documentation of the design of these.
•Detailed knowledge of structural design for offshore structures in load out/transport, fabrication, installation and operational phase.
•Knowledge of Company’s governing documentation and technical requirements, particularly with respect to floating installations.
•Well-developed inter-discipline understanding, co operational- and communication abilities.
•Structured, systematic and target driven with well-defined goals.
•Ability to handle responsibility and periodically high workload.
•Willingness to travel
Language requirements: Excellent English skills, Norwegian is an advantage.
