The Role:
Fircroft are seeking a Discipline Pipeline Inspector/Supervisor for a long term contract on a rotational basis overseas
Location:Azerbaijan
Duration: 12 months rolling contract
Rotation: 6x2
Day Rate: Negotiable – Net paid deal
Accommodation/Flights/Per Diem: Provided

DUTIES
Supervise discipline inspection team personnel in execution of construction quality oversight activities.
Coordinate inspection activities for the Pipeline. The role is located on the pipeline within Azerbaijan.
Coordinate discipline inspectors to perform oversight QC surveillance, witness and hold point oversight inspection activities.

Assist and support the Project Manager to achieve the contract objectives
Promote the Quality Policy & Objectives and ensure compliance to EP-GP-50-10-1 Quality Management in Major Projects
Demonstrate HSE leadership by actively engaging the site team and construction contractors with actions that contribute to delivering on HSE expectations
Verify implementation of contractors’ requirements.
Demonstrate a commitment to the development of Georgian nationals by providing advice, coaching and training
Ensure that patrol surveillance of the Contractors activities, and of the Contractors QC activities is conducted.
Perform Inspection in line with procedural requirements.
Coordinate inspection resource associated with applicable work package
Ensure projects personnel are in attendance at defined Hold and Witness points identified within the Inspection & Test Plans.
Report and raise Non Conformances as required.
Participate in the decision process relating to the disposition of deviations and concessions to specification and codes requested by contractor.
Review contractors inspection and test documentation to ensure it complies and meets contract requirements also verifying any inspection and testing activities.

Strong Leadership skills
Excellent work and personal ethics that include trustworthiness, commitment, and empathy
Confident, creative, and energetic approach to addressing all quality-related issues

Ability to produce quality written reports
Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Inspection qualifications in welding inspection, coatings, NDE (MPI, UT, DPI, RAD and AUT) (desirable). To PCN, ASNT BGAS, CSWIP, PCN, NACE (Certification must be valid).
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a quality discipline supervisor role relating to Inspection/Quality Control also
Minimum of 5 years’ experience on QC activities applicable to oil & gas onshore and/or offshore Pipeline and equipment]
Profound knowledge of applicable standards/ legislation
