The Company:
Our client, an international major oil and gas operator, seeks a Diving Consultant to join their team.

The Role:
• The Diving representative will initially be a part-time member of the Integrated Project Team (IPT).
• They will work with a full-time member of the IPT who is responsible for the diving and ROV scope.
• It is the intention that the Diving representative will be utilized to provide expert review and oversight at key stages through the project development to ensure that it is conducted as safely and efficiently as possible.
• In the latter part of the project, in the run up to and including the offshore phase, it is anticipated that this will transition to a full-time position during 2013

Tasks include:
• Familiarize with project and key documents
• Review base case assumptions
• Travel to South Korea to witness tie-in spool fit up test
• Attend regular (assume bi-weekly) meeting with Diving contractor and IPT representatives Pre-job preparation and detail engineering, Phases 1 and 2
• Review equipment specified, Lift plans, procedures and drawings
• Attend risk and safety reviews
• Visit FPU integration yard (Ingleside, TX) to assist in preparations/SIT
• Attend trial fit up of pull in head and pig
• Attend relevant inductions
• Inspect equipment prior to load out
• Document lessons learned Offshore Support Offshore Operations as Chevron representative for the duration of the activity

Minimum Requirements: (All documents to be current)
• UKOOA medical clearance. (From an approved medical provider)
• TWIC Card
• Safe Gulf
• HUET 5. Pictured Gov’t I.D.
• Valid Passport
• Provide three references from previous projects.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum 15-20 years experience in oilfield diving operations
• Experience in subsea tie-in spool installations.
• Proficient in word, excel and e-mail (computer skills)
• Participate in all Contractor JSAs, Toolbox Talks, Safety Meetings, etc.
• Review all permits and JSA prior to the execution of work
• Diving will be to ADCI & IMCA regulations, candidates should be familiar with these requirements.
• Practical experience with diving procedures and their proper use.
• Ensure all diving is performed in accordance with COMPANY Specifications.
• Capable of reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints related to tie-in spool installation.
• Full understanding of proper flange installation and torque procedures
• Produce daily reports and telephone call, submitted to the Installation Engineer & Chief Inspector in Houston
