The Role:
Accountabilities and End Results:

To ensure appropriate support is in place for managing Company business documents, records and procedures in compliance with corporate and legislative requirements for company data; and the consistent, timely and efficient electronic and hard-copy review and distribution process for company controlled documents. The position will take an active part in the delivery of DRM services and the future management of Company business records in the UK BU.

Primary Functions:

•Controlled document distribution for review and issue
•Co-ordinate the entry of procedures into the OMS.
•Perform quality control checks on the OMS procedures to ensure they comply with the published standards.
•Support the process in place to control the quality and review cycle of documents, records and procedures.
•Maintain Work pack and Report numbering systems and document records in Livelink.
•Provide support for Livelink automated workflows for the OMS.
•Provide guidance on process and system improvement over time.
•Search for & compile information associated with physical storage as per requests from the business.
•Provide support and advice to the UK business on document management issues
•Provide support for the annual attestation activity including the Record Organisation campaign (ROC).
•Identify, develop and implement procedures and work instructions where required for document control activities in accordance with corporate and legislative requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Document management professional with knowledge and experience of varied DRM systems and practices.
•Proven experience of Document Control within the oil and gas industry or similar role.
•Sound knowledge of Operational procedure management systems and processes.
•Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and a track record in delivering results.
•Accuracy and attention to detail.
•Excellent organisational skills.
•Requires minimum supervision.
•Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate efficiently across all levels of the organisation.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
•Knowledge and experience of Live Link and SharePoint 2007.
•Knowledge of oil & gas production operations.
•Knowledge of DFO (Documents & Data for Operations).
