The Company:
Our Client is an independent oil & natural gas exploration, development and production company who has approx 3,700 employees, production of over 565,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and an enterprise value of approximately $30 billion.

The Role:
Document Control – Key Activities

• Providing support to Decommissioning Project Document Controllers, as required.
• Processing of Decommissioning Project information (Murchison, Ninian North and Olowi) including Engineering (Design and Vendor) and Company documentation: registration, issue, distribution, transmittal, tracking, and retrieval of documents received and issued to and from CNRI and 3rd Parties.
• Document Number, Revision Coding / Revision Status allocation.
• Document QC verification.
• Documentum upload of completed Comments Sheets.
• Maintenance of Documentum records, ensuring these reflect accurate attribute and current document status.
• Docloading (bulk loading) of records to Documentum.
• Search and retrieval of information held within Documentum, including the recall of archive information held in offsite storage.
• Scanning of documents and uploading to Documentum as and when required.
• Archive and rationalisation of Decommissioning Project information. Providing assistance with documentation-related rationalisation projects relating to Murchison, Ninian North and Olowi.

Administration – Key Activities

• Provide administrative support to the Decommissioning Project team, including the formatting of reports, PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.
• Provide administrative support to the Decommissioning Project Stakeholder Consultant, as required, including liaison with internal / external parties.
• Assist team members with project meetings: coordinate and distribute Agendas, take and distribute draft Minutes.
• Proof-read internally prepared documentation prior to formal issue / distribution.
• Undertake ad hoc administration support tasks and activities, as required.

General Activites

• Attend and contribute to team meetings.
• Work in a collaborative manner with all internal and external interfaces.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Has an effective and appropriate level of written and oral communication skills.
• Has a positive and flexible attitude and demonstrates commitment and initiative in the delivery of an efficient service to the project, ie is customer focused.
• Has the ability to liaise / interface with people at all levels.
• Experienced in working in compliance with Company and project-specific policies and procedures.
• Understanding of Document Numbering / Revision Control coding and indexing requirements re Technical / Non-Technical documentation.
• Has a systematic and disciplined approach to work and is able to plan, schedule and monitor own work within a limited and / or defined timeline.
• Good attention to detail with accurate inputting skills.
• Is able to adopt a proactive and coordinated approach in identifying anomalies.
• Capable of working on own initiative after short period of training.
• Proficient with diverse software including MS Office Suite, together with Adobe Acrob

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience in a similar position.
• Oil and gas industry experience.
• Educated to minimum of standard grade level (Technical / Engineering, English, Science).
• Experienced in the use of Documentum / Webtop.
