The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
3 opportunities are available for Document Control Administrators to provide Document Control support to engineering and site construction teams in order to have a robust and traceable set of design documentation.

Out of the 3 posts, 1 position will be working for the T&D Infrastructure department, which will potentially involve frequent travel to the clients London office, the other 2 roles may require occasional travel as and when required to sites/clients office

As a Document Control Administrator you will undertake a range of tasks and duties, which will include but not be limited to:

• Basic filing of documents
• Maintenance of Document Management system
• Drawing/Document receipt and issue in line with contractual obligations
• Checking in house Drawings/Documentation for compliance to Company procedures
• Checking externally supplied Drawings/Documentation upon receipt for compliance with contractual requirements
• Control of quality records including document control lists, transmittals, transmittal receipts and Customer comments in line with in house, supplier, customer and ISO quality procedures
• Conducting audits of site Drawing/Document Repositories
• Customer and Supplier liaison on document control issues
• Stationary requisition and printing consumable supplies

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel spreadsheets, formulas, formating etc
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure/meeting deadlines
• Good organisational skills
• A flexible approach
• Manual dexterity

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Document Management Systems
• AutoCAD
• Knowledge/Experience of Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, GTX RasterCAD, Automanager Workflow, Microstation, Paint Shop Pro, Meridian and Lotus Notes
