The Role:
I am currently recruiting for a Document Control Assistant to work for my leading client based in Aberdeen on a short term contract.


• Ensure the timely turn around of documentation issued internally or received externally, as directed by line manager.
• Maintain company's document management database as directed.
• Prepare project documentation at close out of projects, hard copy & electronically, as directed by project procedures and line manager.
• Prepare project documentation for archive, hard copy & electronically as directed.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Aware of, and comply with all project procedures.
• Issue documents and drawings in a controlled manner, using DM database.
• Receive incoming documentation and drawings in a controlled manner, using DM database.
• Ensure project drawings and documents are issued in a controlled manner and within agreed time-scales, this includes work pack preparation and issue.
• File hard copy and electronic documentation in controlled manner as directed by line manager.
• Issue documentation in line with agreed distribution matrices.
• Any other ad-hoc activities as directed.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in similar role would be an advantage however training will be provided.
