The Role:
Qualified candidate will possess a strong knowledge of all aspects of document control processes. Additionally, the candidate will provide Leadership that guides the Project Team (PT) and EPC Contractors to ensure compliance with Contracts and Company Information Management standards across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

•Confirm existence and ensure suitability as well as accuracy of Master Document Registers (MDRs), Supplier MDRs (SMDRs), and Deliverable Review and Accountability Matrixes (DRAMs).
•Ensure contractor and supplier documentation deliverables meet contract requirements
•Report progress in completion of deliverables, issue look ahead, and overdue reports.
•Actively participate in project meetings and anticipate information management needs.
•Gap Contractor Document Control Procedures against clients templates, document results, and make recommendations for upgrades.
•Conduct periodic (quarterly for large projects) assessments of Contractor's Document Control processes; document results, and raise concerns as well as recommendations to Technology and Data Lead.
•Transmit information packages to Operations, and facilitate resolution of DFO queries and deviations.
•Ensure adequate performance measurements are implemented to support DFO progress and reporting.
•Ensure all final DFO drawings, documents, and their associated attributes are handed over to operations.
•Any other tasks as required.
Primary Interfaces: In performing duties the Lead Document Controller will liaise closely with engineering, project services, the various project teams, and third party vendors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Strong written communication skills including proven ability to create procedures and presentations as well as routine interactions with PTs.
•Working knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
•High proficiency in Document Control IT tools, databases, and administrative procedures
•8+ years industry working experience in areas of operations and/or project technical support, including working experience with document management, and IT systems and tools.
