The Company:
Our client is a global, pioneering operator with continued growth in Australia developing large gas resources and maintaining a substantial exploration portfolio. Our client has over 90,000 personnel worldwide across 70 countries making them one of the largest oil and gas operators in the world. Our client is also involved in ground-breaking projects the likes of which the world has never seen before thus confirming their reputation as an innovator in oil and gas technology.

The Role:
A position has become available for an experienced Document Controller to join a leading Oil and Gas Operator for a 12 month contract. A successful candidate will be required to have the ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and diverse environment across multiple project locations, virtually.

Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

•Process all project deliverables received from company, Contractors, Vendors and Subcontractors within 24 hours of receipt.
•Process all company comments back to company, Contractors, Vendors and Subcontractors within 24 hours of receipt.
•EDMS database administration
•Liaise with Engineering, Vendors and Subcontractors re: Documentation Queries and Questions
•Conduct Assal and LL User Training and Refresher courses.
•Carry out Document Control Ad-hoc requests/excercises as deemed necessary by the project.
•Generate and publish daily, weekly and monthly documentation status reports.
•Conduct regular EDMS 'house keeping' to ensure quality of document attributes captured are correct.
•Expedite company Engineering on LATE close out of external party documentatation.
•Manage and maintain Document Distribution Matrices (Including DCAF Ids)
•Update Assai to reflect Engineering MDRs and Vendors Document Schedules
•Conduct weekly meetings with Contractors and vendors re: Documentation status/discrepancies.
•Participate in Kick of Meetings/Bid Clarification Meetings with Contractors and Vendor, to define COMPANY DCC requirements and work practices.
•As part of the overall company team, where necessary provide assistance to Document Control teams in India, Geoje and Perth.

•Ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability and competence in the following commercial, technical and interpersonal aspects:
•Application of document control processes and tools in a major project context.
•Commercial acumen / awareness.
•Managing internal and external stakeholders.
•Effective communications at all levels of management both internally and externally.
