The Company:
Our Client is a Major O & G Operator located in the Energy Corridor.
This would be a contract opportunity for at least 6 months in duration.
Client prefers candidates who are available to interview and start immediately.
Preference will be giving to candidates who have experience with drilling data and filing procedures.
Must be proficient with Documentum.

The Role:
Job function overview:

Document control is responsible for maintaining and controlling D & C Well’s documentation. Preference will be giving to candidates who have experience with drilling data and filing procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities – General:

• Assign document numbers to new documents and maintain a log of the numbers being assigned.
• Control data in DWDOCs.
• Grant access to new users needing access to DWDOCs.
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining Wells Specific and general files for TH, ATL, MD & HOL.
• Ensure that all files set up are in accordance and compliance with Client Record Series Listing.
• Coordinate with different teams to ensure that all proper documentation is kept in the Wells Team File Room.
• Ensure all file room files are updated with current information.
• Maintain records retention and dispatch records offsite when they have been retired by authorized personnel.
• Perform inactive functions, including coordination of pick-up and delivery of off-site records.
• Maintain the files record log for tracking purposes in an effort to eliminate file misplacements.
• Assist various departmental personnel in gaining knowledge of Client procedures for packing records, inventorying them correctly, and dispatching off-site.
• Process and file all incoming and outgoing documents properly. (this will include correspondencefrom rigs).
• Scan records, inventory control, and file room audits.
• Update Documentum on an as-needed basis.
• Assist with hard copy duplication (i.e. copy manuals, end of well reports, IADC reports.)
• Maintain IADC reports both electronic & hard copy data.
