The Company:
Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.
They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier, Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company.

The Role:
We are currently sourcing a Document Controller/ Assistant Level to join the North East Office on an agency contract hire basis.
Core Responsibilities include the support of the projects in the areas of Records Management, Engineering Documents, issuance of Client documents, supplier data coordination, turnover and archiving of project records.

Specific accountabilities include
• Receive, log, track, file, monitor and reporting of engineering and supplier documentation in an EDM System.
• Process and control engineering documentation deliverables in accordance with established guidelines and client specific procedures.
• Expedite the review and approval of engineering deliverables and Vendor Documentation.
• Maintain an awareness of document handling techniques and be responsible for adherence to the document control procedures.
• Respond to internal and external documentation requests.
• Provide routine quality checks on all outgoing documentation in accordance with the established guidelines.

The role requires a good working knowledge of different engineering document types and a flexible approach to their work and hours in order to deliver against tight deadlines.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The following qualification or experience would be preferred:
• Previous project experience in a document control environment.
• High level of competence in the use of Smart Plant Foundation, Encompass Sharecat, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office suite & other IT systems.
• No formal Qualifications Required.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information.
• Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and document control software.
• Good working knowledge of document management systems, processes and procedures.
• Experience in a document control role preferably in the same or similar industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
