The Company:
Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.
They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier, Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company.

The Role:
We are currently sourcing a Document Controller to join the North West Office on an agency contract hire basis.

Successful candidate will perform document control services on a major procurement project in accordance with the client's document management system, controls, processes and procedures; and any project specific or other regulatory requirements.

Duration: 6-12 months durations.

The successful applicant’s duties will be:

Ensure all current and relevant documentation is uploaded to the document management system or project websites as required e.g. Microsoft SharePoint.



Key role - Desk Expediting of Vendor Documentation.
To receive, distribute and issue/control of internal and vendor documentation.
The roles require a good working knowledge of different engineering document types and a flexible approach to their work and hours in order to deliver against tight deadlines.
Check all received documentation is legible and contains appropriate approvals.
Support other team members to balance workload.
Ensure all project documentation is processed, transmitted and filed in accordance with the relevant document management system, and can be retrieved in an accurate and timely manner.
Produce and distribute status reports to the project team when required.
Assist with the reproduction of documentation across different mediums.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
No formal Qualifications Required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information.
Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and document control software.
Good working knowledge of document management systems, processes and procedures.
Experience in a document control role preferably in the same or similar industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
