The Company:
Our Client is a global Energy Leader with a strong commitment to Honest and Ethical Business Practices within the Oil and Gas Industry. Our Client operates as an independent energy company. It has four segments: Oil and Gas, Syncrude, Energy Marketing, and Chemicals. The Oil and Gas segment explores, develops, and produces crude oil, natural gas, and related products.

The Role:
• Leadership - Undertakes the role in line with corporate policy and demonstrates behaviours in line with company values at all times. Readily accepts accountability.

• Financial - Carries out duties in a way that maximises value and minimises waste and risk.

• Technical/Functional –
• Ensure the review process of all engineering documentation generated by operations representatives is understood by all affected parties and adhered to.
• Ensure the timely turnaround of comments from third parties to Operations reps.
• Ensure all comments are recorded/managed and stored and can be retrieved by team members.
• Support the Aberdeen operations representatives in all aspects of effective document control.

• Collaboration - Collaborates with others in the team and looks for opportunities to leverage their network and work with others to develop safe, practical and effective solutions.

• Continuous Improvement & Innovation - Continuously develops ways of working by seeking feedback from colleagues and key stakeholders. Complies with company project management disciplines, effectively utilises knowledge databases and actively participates in project reviews.

• Capability Development - Looks for opportunities to develop technical and personal skills both by formal learning interventions and work experience. Coaches team colleagues where appropriate and demonstrates a personal commitment to lifelong learning.

• People Processes - Engages with people processes in a positive and timely manner. Demonstrates a commitment to the spirit of such processes.

• Performs other duties, completes additional tasks and supports ad hoc projects as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Standard Grade Education or equivalent.
Relevant experience in an Information Management / Document Control environment.
Knowledge of Document Control Methodologies.
MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel etc).
Good communication skills, strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Appreciation of engineering terminology.
