The Company:
Our Client is an independent oil & natural gas exploration, development and production company who has approx 3,700 employees, production of over 565,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day and an enterprise value of approximately $30 billion.

The Role:
Responsible for the provision of an onshore Document Control service working in compliance with Company policies and procedures under the guidance of the Information Centre Team Leader and Decom Project focal point for the preparation and compilation of technical documentation packages for inclusion in two ITTs.

Key Activities
• Provide support in the preparation and maintenance of Technical Documentation Package Registers (for each of the 2 ITTs).
• Preparation / compilation of technical documentation package for each ITT to reflect Technical Documentation Package Register status requirements, including collation of native / PDF files.
• Identify / track documentation anomalies (duplicate EDMS records, inaccurate attribute metadata, etc) to support quality and integrity of documentation held within the CNRI system, Documentum. Expedite close-out of anomalies.
• Where required, prepare and upload Documentum docload sheets to correct multiple records.
• Proactively progress scope of work, liaising with relevant parties to support delivery of the final packages within defined timelines.
• Collect and centralise field and reservoir data and archive in the National Field Archive.

• Prepare and issue weekly progress status reports.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings, as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Experience working within the oil and gas industry in a Document Control environment.
• Experienced in working in compliance with departmental and project procedures.
• Understanding of Document Numbering / Revision Control coding and indexing requirements re Design and Vendor documentation, including document lifecycles.
• EDMS experience.
• Meticulous attention to detail with accurate inputting skills.
• Excellent file management skills.
• Has a systematic and disciplined approach to work and is able to plan, schedule and monitor own work within a limited and / or defined timeline.
• Is able to adopt a proactive and coordinated approach in identifying anomalies, areas of concern and resolving problems in a timely and effective manner.
• Capable of working on own initiative after short period of training.
• Works in a collaborative manner, ie is a team player.
• Educated to minimum of standard grade level (Technical / Engineering, English, Science).
