We are seeking a Document Controller to assist with the implementation and maintenance of effective control records and related files to store and release blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents to project personnel. Files may be electronic or paper based files. This position is directly responsible to the Document Control Manager.

The Job - You would be responsible for a number of duties such as:

• Being the focal point for all project documents except correspondence.
• Controlling project documents/Vendor Data and maintain registers to indicate current status via the document control system.
• Ensuring project documents comply with procedural requirements prior to processing into the document control system.
• Ensuring a system is in place to maintain the integrity of documents used.
• Train personnel or provide training materials to personnel to enable all project members to be familiar with document control requirements.
• Examine documents such as drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
• Confer with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.
• Post changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, and notify affected departments.
• Maintain related files.
• Prepare requests for reproduction of documents.
• Operate reproduction equipment.

You will have the authority to sign documents under your direct control.

Essentials
You will have a minimum of 3-4 years of Document Control / Processing experience with vendor experience preferably
