The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
This Document Control position requires experience in general document control duties and all that entails.

Key deliverables are the timely processing of project and contract documentation and general support of the Team.

• Apply and foster use of appropriate Project DC tools and processes
• Actively apply the principles of the Chevron Way
• Take direction • Process and record documentation through Document Management System.
• Process and create transmittals.
• Work both autonomously and as a team member.
• Liaise with customers as required.
• Work with project members to ensure that correct processes and procedures are followed
• Work within tight schedules
• Ensure compliance and promote project Document Control processes, procedures, and specifications.

Ensure accurate records of all official documentation generated by the COMPANY, the CONTRACTOR or its vendors.
• Process all Project official documentation (includes engineering/technical, correspondence, project management - commercial, legal) generated by COMPANY and CONTRACTOR to be stored in the Document Management System.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure compliant documentation according to non-technical procedural processes
• Promote potential enhancements to working procedures and processes
• Use of eRoom instances for secure Information exchange with relevant parties
• Assist with assessing Coreworx and eRoom training requirements
• Guide users in the correct Document Management Processes
• Guide users in correct workflow processes within Coreworx
• Training new starters
• Organise and manage electronic files/documents (via eRoom)
• Establish team building rapport with internal and external recipients to ascertain a successful working relationship
• Demonstrate a willingness to take on new challenges
• Work with contractors to ensure that documentation is submitted in a timely and correct format Must be able to prioritise and be flexible with a can do attitude.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Yr 12 (high schooling) and/or other appropriate certificates and diplomas
4+ years Document control experience
MS Office suite, outlook, squad checks, workflows.
Experience with eRoom and Coreworx would be looked upon favourably. excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good attention to detail, be friendly and professional at all times, flexible, good sense of humour is a must – must be a self starter but able to work with the team.
MS Office suite.
Strong communication both verbal and written, organised, attention to detail, good management skills (influencing, negotiation, delegation)
