The Company:
Our Client is a Leading Global Operator in the Oil, Gas and Energy Industry.

The Role:
1. Implement a project specific document management function on each Major Project, based upon Client's standard PIM strategy and associated tools and processes.
2. Implement and enhance with the Lead Document Controller the Project procedure and naming conventions, and Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
3. Specific responsibility for document handover from contractor to Client's GPO.
4. Use of the EDMS solution
5. Maintain active relationship with project engineering authority, providing framework for assurance of data/document accuracy and completeness.
6. Information integrity – ensure correct information is handed over.
7. Ensures information is handled efficiently in order to support/improve project performance.
8. Ensure document management learning’s and best practices are effectively used and executed by the project.
9. Interface/coordinate with Delivery Teams, PSCM, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations Management (Drilling and Subsea where applicable).
10. Provide assurance on contractor document management processes, systems, and people comply with BP business requirements

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years document control experience
2. Knowledge of Engineering.
3. Understanding of EDMS systems.
4. Experience working with technical and non-technical teams across a broad range of engineering and supplier disciplines and geographies.
5. Implementation of best practice standards in project hub delivery management and governance
