The Role:
Document Controller
Perth
12 month contract

Our Client a specialist in Brownfield modifications is currently seeking a Document Controller, to be based in Perth, reporting directly to the Lead Document Controller. This position is a 12 month contract.
The Role:
• Coordinating documentation distribution and circulation
• Creating documents and transmittals effectively utilising the document management systems to maintain traceability and accuracy of data
• Updating project related documentation
• Undertake search and retrieval of documentation for personnel
• Undertaking expediting of overdue documentation
• Providing support to Engineering personnel
• Perform document archiving and filing (electronic and hard copy) of project and corporate documents and drawings.
• Undertake project finalisation activities in line with project closeout, updating document control systems as required
• Update Vendor Equipment Manuals and expedite review processes according to guidelines and procedures
• Monitor and distribute updates to client standards and procedures
• Provide search and retrieval services for International and Australian standards required by TW personnel

Essential Requirements:
• Previous Document Control experience, preferably within a project or information management environment.
• Demonstrated delivery of exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
• Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop practical solutions to problems.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
• High level of data entry accuracy.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry will be highly regarded but is not essential.
