The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
This role will be responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate receipt, registration, distribution, retrieval and filing of all project controlled documentation (revision controlled documentation). High level of autonomy.

o Assign classifications including confidentiality levels to documents and assign access and viewing rights to documents according to agreed procedures.
o Assist with the final project documentation handover in conjunction with contractor and other departments including the archiving processes as and when appropriate.
o Provide guidance in relation to document control processes, procedures and systems to stakeholders
• Stakeholder Management
o Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that document control processes and services support the needs of the project
o Engage in discussions with key project stakeholders on document control requirements as required.
o Expedite issues relating to late delivery and return of documents and comments to documents
• Continuous Improvement
o Assist in improving the efficiency of the processing of Document Control work requests

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience as a document controller in major capital projects
• Experience of using one or more document control and document management systems
• Experience of working in a document control team providing services to multiple stakeholders
• Experience of controlling project, engineering design and vendor documents and drawings

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Meticulous attention to detail
• High level of understanding of document control and document management systems including document control processes and document classification
• General understanding of capital projects including project information management and information handover
• Ability to identify and prioritise issues with the level of judgment to solve or escalate as required
