The Role:
Overall integrity of the Project Electronic Document Management System and management of all aspects of project document control.
Assurance of the EPMS document control function (Pre-loads, ETN status, Document Distribution Matrix, completeness, etc.)
Preparation and issuance of procedures on the numbering and control of both internal and external design and vendor documents as per contractual conditions and in line with existing guidelines and practices.
Serving as single-point-of-contact for the project team and operating asset team for the management of project documentation and the supporting applications
Providing an accurate and unbiased view of project information status to both the Project Information Manager and the wider Delivery Team
Maintain effective document management processes and supporting tools
Maintain the document numbering and naming conventions for the project along with the document filing system, registers and indexes
Maintain document registration, archiving and disposal procedures
Issue document numbers
Ensure compliance with standards and procedures
Collaborate with Operations to develop plan for and execute information handover to Operations
Implement and manage the project document control and document management processes and systems to aid in efficient project delivery.
Drive improvements within the Document Control scope through leadership, standards, and behaviours. Implement solutions that educate and encourage internal and external stakeholders to become more collaborative.
Manage document control & document management assets. Implement, promote and operate solutions that support the project’s objectives, facility lifecycle value delivery, and global knowledge sharing and

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant Document Management and/or Information Management experience
Core competence in Document Management.
Good technical awareness of web based applications and infrastructure.
Experience working with technical and non-technical teams across abroad range of engineering and supplier disciplines and geographical locations.
Good attention to detail

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Relevant project experience of document management & control on at least two different projects and different stages of a project
Good appreciation of engineering data management and control
Experience using web based Electronic Document Control Systems (EDMS) for controlling project documentation
Experience working with large contractor organizations
Experience performing effectively in a multi-disciplinary, multicultural environment
Strong commitment to HSSE
High level of self-motivation
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong analytical skills
Proactive thinking – the ability to come up with options and solutions
Delivery focused
