The Role:
To provide a Technical Document Control Service for Operations & Projects using the companys Electronic Document Management System. This in accordance with the company’s requirements

1. Ensure up to date maintenance of all Technical Documentation is processed and accessible to the user departments through the company’s Electronic Document Management System (Cimage).
2. Ensure Document Control policies, practices and procedures are communicated, understood and followed by all company Personnel.
3. Process and monitor daily departmental workload and prioritise tasks as necessary.
4. Training of company personnel in the use of Cimage.
5. Ongoing responsibility to ensure historical archived documentation is retrieved / scanned and uploaded into Cimage.
6. As required, liase with engineering personnel to resolve any Document Control Issues in a timely manner.
7. Process and control of Project and Operational documentation that is required to be issued for review / comment, and expediting comments as appropriate.
8. Fulfilment of copy requests and subsequent document distribution.
9. Ensure that full audit / revision history is maintained and made available via Cimage.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience in Document Control or related Records Management activities.
A sound working knowledge of Microsoft based PC applications.
The Document Controller must be a fast learner and rapidly become familiar with all relevant project management processes utilised to manage / control the varying work requirements.
The Document Controller needs to have good IT and communication skills, whilst being committed to continually improving these.
Personal attributes / behaviours essential for this role include – Good communication skills required to have the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and to prioritise work correctly. Strong team member and have the ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, as an individual or as a team member.
