The Role:
Nationality: Thai Residency

The Vendor Document Controller is responsible for maintaining project documentation, both hard copy and electronically in accordance with project procedures.
• The Vendor Document Controller is responsible for registering, classifying, managing, tracking, filing and distributing all electronic and hard copy project deliverables and other documentation as required by the project. This includes design and vendor documentation and other controlled documents as defined by the project. The Vendor Document Controller is responsible for the quality checking of documents as defined in the project document control procedures and scanning, printing, copying of documentation, and preparing CD's as required. The Vendor Document Controller is responsible for handover of documentation in accordance with the Project Handover Procedure.

• Controls all documentation related to department and project activities within contractual requirements and Samsung procedures (including confidentiality)
• Assists with development, maintenance and improvement of departmental / projects document control work processes.
• Collects information for reports.
• Follows up with engineering as required to confirm status and / or completion dates of deliverables.
• Communicated and clarifies requirements for vendor data, including priority documents as set by the area.
• Maintains a record of documents requirements and forecast dates.
• Manages documents in the Project Document Databases
• Provide Document Expediting support to the personnel, including Area Manager, Area Engineers, Project Engineers, Area Discipline Engineers and Area Construction Personnel.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• At least 1-2 years experience in document control activities.
• Experience in using Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
• Able o collect high level information
• Good knowledge of EPC(Engineering, Procurement, Construction) business
• Good Communication in English and Thai.
• Skills and experiences in using MS Word, Excel & Access, Adobe Acrobat, and File Management Manipulation Technologies.
• Ability to understand and apply complex procedures.
