The Role:
The Document Controller is required to work to and provide guidance on Company IM/Document Control policies, processes, specifications, procedures to ensure that all MCP official information generated by or on behalf of the Company is accurately managed, recorded, stored and distributed via the Company Information Management Systems.
Document Controllers receive guidance and direction to IM Coordinator.

• Assist with training on IM/Document Control policies, processes, specifications, procedures and software to the Company and external parties i.e. Contractors, vendors, partners etc...
• Administer and expedite the flow of information between the Company and external parties using appropriate transmittal processes.
• Understand and comply with the appropriate methods of transfer of information between entities (e.g. eRoom, SharePoint, encrypted hard drives etc…).
• Add to / revise information in the Company Information Management Systems.
• Processes the exchange, reviews and approval of information utilising the Company IM systems.
• Assists with the maintenance of the Company distribution matrix.
• Accurately and consistently identify and maintain the metadata of official MCP information.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure the Company and external parties comply with Company IM/Document Control procedures and specifications etc…
• Expedite and track status of information reviewed by the MCP.
• Assist in the provision of timely and accurate reporting of document review, receipt and issue information.
• Provide assistance to the Company and external parties in regards to document numbering.
• Provide first line support to the MCP on Company Information Management Systems.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 3 years in role experience to include the administration & use of electronic document management systems.
• A thorough understanding of good information management practices.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Methodical, well organized and able to manage short time frames and competing priorities.
