The Company:
Our client is a major global Oil and Gas EPC management company that can cover small Brownfield projects to major Greenfield projects.
They are a growth company who can serve as a Sole Supplier, Joint Venture or Subcontractor. With a proven track record of delivering large scale complex projects they are a progressive and attractive company.

The Role:
We are currently sourcing a Document Controller to join the North West Office on an agency contract hire basis.

Successful candidate will perform document control services on a major procurement project in accordance with document management systems, controls, processes and procedures; and any project specific or other regulatory requirements.

The successful applicant’s duties will be:

To receive, distribute and issue/control of internal and vendor documentation.
The roles require a good working knowledge of different engineering document types and a flexible approach to their work and hours in order to deliver against tight deadlines.
Check all received documentation is legible and contains appropriate approvals.
Desk Expediting of Vendor Documentation will also be required.
Support other team members to balance workload.
Ensure all project documentation is processed, transmitted and filed in accordance with the relevant document management system, and can be retrieved in an accurate and timely manner.
Produce and distribute status reports to the project team when required.
Assist with the reproduction of documentation across different mediums.
Ensure all current and relevant documentation is uploaded to the document management system or project websites as required e.g. Microsoft SharePoint.


1. Good working knowledge of document management systems, processes and procedures.
2. Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and document control software.
3. Experience in a document control role preferably in the same or similar industry, including experience in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.

The person has to have good verbal and written communication skills, capable of managing their own workload, with little supervision, referring any issues that threaten project delivery to the Department Manager and working within the company/project procedure at all times.

Candidates will be required to have a certain degree of flexibility with working hours, target for 40 hours a week occasional need to work outside core hours
