The Role:
The Document Controller is responsible for management of all UK Producing Asset controlled documentation and maintaining the EDMS system. The role also includes responsibility for enhancing the EDMS system to include Client’s Operations Management System and other UK Producing Assets data which requires document control.

Technical/Functional –
Document Management
• Ensure all documentation is dealt with in a timely manner - issuing documents, transmittals, collating of comments and updating EDMS
• Updating MDRs accordingly
• Liaising with Subsea Engineers and Document Controllers at other companies.Archiving and filing of documentation, CDs etc
• Implementation of EDMS to ensure all data is imported and system running correctly
• Continuous improvement of the UK EDMS system to include emergent UK document control requirements (eg. Operations Management System, Joint Venture management system)
• Supporting UK Producing Asset Manager with completion of the monthly Management Performance Review material
• Integration with the UK Producing Assets Non Operated and Operated teams to ensure update of the 6Q Planning databases, delivery of actions and chairing of the monthly 6Q
• planning meeting.
• Maintaining UK Producing Asset Vacation forms and updating of yearly vacation planner
• Assisting UK Producing Assets team with any other administrative / technical duties as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 5 years experience in Administration / Document Control positions, mostly in the Oil & Gas industry
• Knowledge of EDMS (Document Management System)
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and assertiveness
