The Company:
Our Client was established in 2004 to be responsible for the planning, design, procurement, construction, delivery, and asset management of ALL infrastructure projects and public buildings in Qatar, key responsibilities include governing the design, construction, and management of major projects including roads, drainage and buildings such as public buildings, schools and hospitals.

The Role:
Document Controller staff to carry out Document controlling Services and all related functions as described in the Contract and Project Brief and as directed by the Engineer or his elected representative in the Engineering Business Support Department.

For the Document Controller the duties and services to be provided by the specified seconded staff are to be generally but not limited to all facets of the Document Controller profession but with particular reference to:
- Archive and distribute of incoming and outgoing communicated documents through Contract Manager programme (Expedition).
- Manage flow of the project documents in the affairs.
- Issue document control monthly report including the submittals, status, letters, approvals, meetings etc
- Follow up and support the team responsible for the document control in affairs projects.
- Prepare the final disposition of documents for consultants and contractors during the contracts close out.
- Receiving, verifying, updating, distributing and quality archiving for drawings, technical reports, specifications, tender documents, contract documents, and other project information through Contract Manager Programme (Expedition)
- Maintain a system for the tracking of current and superseded documents.
- Provide regular and specific reports on document control processes, outputs and performance for any level of organization.
- Manage final evaluation process for consultants and contractor before the contracts close out through contract manager programme.(Expedition)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Should have Degree or Diploma specialized in document control with training on PM software (Expedition/ Contract Manger) and data base administration.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum 05 years document control experience particular to Construction Consultancy or construction Project management discipline using project Management software (Contract Manager/Expedition).
* Preferably, have minimum 3 years experience in the gulf region
* MUST be fully computer literate and able to utilize related computer software applications.
* MUST be fluent in English, both written and spoken, with an excellent capability in technical report writing skills as well as oral and written communication skills.
