Our client is a global, pioneering operator with continued growth in Australia developing large gas resources and maintaining a substantial exploration portfolio. Our client has over 90,000 personnel worldwide across 70 countries making them one of the largest oil and gas operators in the world. Our client is also involved in ground-breaking projects the likes of which the world has never seen before thus confirming their reputation as an innovator in oil and gas technology.

The Role:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a project experienced Document Controller for an initial 12 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a world class Oil and Gas project team. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Project Document Control Lead and will be responsible in ensuring the project records are compiled accurately and all project information efficiently flows to appropriate personnel.
As the successful candidate your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Provide training to Project/ asset personnel on engineering data warehouse concept.
  • Ensure all records are classified in line to company classification and handling policy.
  • Register load and distribute documents into company EDMS system.
  • Provide support to the project document control team based in South Korea with accurately cataloguing and storing of hard copy documentation.
  • Ensure records are accurately transferred.
  • Identify and safeguarding critical records.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in Document Control.
  • Previous experience in content management systems/document management systems.
  • Relevant bachelor degree.
  • Understanding of engineering data warehouse concept.
  • Previous Oil and Gas experience with project exposure.
  • Experience in SharePoint.
  • Essential experience in Records Management.
