The Company:
Our Client appears in the FTSE 100 index and is an international energy services company specializing in Oil and Gas and has annual revenues of over £2.6 billion. They believe that it is the people that drive their success, from Project Managers, Project Engineers, consultants to designers and commercial personnel. They work globally employing over 20,000 people on major operations including the UK.

The Role:
Main Duties:
o Aware of working within corporate & project specific document control procedures.
o Ensuring timely turn around of documentation issued internally or received externally.
o Maintaining the document control database.
o Issuing documents & drawing in a controlled manner using DCC database
o Receiving incoming documents & drawing using DCC database.
o Ensuring project drawings and documents are issued within agreed timescales, this includes work pack preparation.
o Preparing and administrating agreed distribution matrixes.
o Administering technical query system form within DCC database.
o Preparing project documentation for archive.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Good experience in a Document Management environment or proven industry experience.

Good knowledge of Web accessed Document Management Systems and familiar with latest techniques in document handling and computerised tracking Documentum experience an advantage.

Technical experience and understanding of As-Built engineering documentation and
thorough knowledge of Project documentation.

Ability to communicate and interact with all levels of staff.

Ability to manage and encourage support staff in order to improve their performance.

Ability to set priorities and schedule for own work.

Significant self-starter skills and a high level of initiative.

Well developed analytical skills including computer and reporting skills.

Significant proven experience in managing a document control team and implementation of a web based content management system aligning structure, naming & numbering,classification, retention and disposal elements.
