The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. Spending more than 20 years building a culture of safety and environmental stewardship that strives to achieve world-class performance, our client places the highest of priority on developing a strong safety focused culture.

The Role:
An exciting new opportunity has a risen for an experienced Business Analyst to join a significant Global Oil and Gas Player. Primarily responsible for out of hour's coverage, inclusive of weekends and public holidays, 4 days a week including weekends.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

*Reading and analysing domestic gas and allocating gas to domestic buyers
*Apply the appropriate business analysis tools and methods, in support of new and existing applications and business processes
*Apply Information Protection standards where appropriate to existing operational systems
*Provide assistance with the settlements process including confirming invoice quantities and pricing
*Will be responsible for the scheduling and allocation of domestic gas with a revenue value of $500million - $1 billion per annum
*Work with finance, legal, credit and tax to ensure compliance requirements satisfied etc.
*Manage domgas operational reporting including reviewing source data, generating and distributing reports
*Contribute to the ongoing management of nomination and scheduling systems, with continual review and improvement of business processes
*Ensure processes for Business Continuity Plan are up to date and operational at all times
*Ensure document management of operational information adheres to Gas Supply and Trading approved Document Management Policy
*Facilitate workshops in capturing business requirements, exposing misalignment on requirements and driving to a consensus view
*As new opportunities arise, capture the high level business requirements in context to specific business strategies, goals and objectives allowing an initial set of solution alternatives to be identified
*Collaborate closely with business stakeholder in gathering and modelling business data, business processes
*Develop presentations and provide high level of communications to project stakeholders on business operational scenarios, business process/responsibility changes and implications business process integration gaps and potential issues
*Collaborate with business SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to manage business expectations on the scope of business and system functions
*Perform all contractual admin duties as directed by the Commercial Ops Mgr

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

*Degree qualification in Commerce, Finance or Economics related field
*Previous experience in a similar role within the Oil and Gas industry. Experience with an Operator would be very highly regarded
*Ideally, position would have a working knowledge of the existing and developing domestic gas market systems and procedures
*Knowledge of the existing and developing domestic gas market systems and procedures
*Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
*Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting
*Attention to Detail
*High level of analytical skills
