The Company:
Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia.

The Role:
To be part of a multifunctional project team responsible for supporting the DomGas pipeline scope which included the following:
• Detailed design, construction, installation, hook-up, commissioning and start-up of the pipeline and pipeline facilities. In addition to supporting the Domgas pipeline design activities, it is anticipated that the role will involve in interfacing with other third party stakeholders including the pipeline infrastructure asset owners and independent validation/verification consultants and independent bodies. Onshore Pipeline System

Design Knowledge:
• Demonstrated design track record with respect to onshore pipeline systems and associated equipment ie metering stations, valve stations, compressor stations etc.
• Familiarity with design practices across all associated disciplines i.e. pipelines, flow assurance, electrical, instrumentation etc.
• Reviews mechanical design of projects for technical accuracy, compliance, completeness and feasibility to governing codes and CVX requirements.
• Reviews the completion of all technical scopes of work, specifications, drawings and data sheets necessary for the EPC bid packages. Onshore Pipeline Construction Familiarity:
• Demonstrated familiarity with onshore pipeline construction requirements, codes, regulations and contractor work practices.
• Has direct experience with onshore pipeline construction and is familiar with management of key interface issues around plants and main transportation systems
• Assist in project execution planning. Seek out and apply best practices from other projects. Capture and share best practices and lessons learned from project planning and execution.
• Apply CPDEP and Capital Stewardship principles to ensure decision quality and superior project execution.

Communication & Teamwork:
• Solid network for maturing the project Domgas Pipeline scope.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in working within a multi-disciplinary team and detailed engineering environment.
• Knowledge in use of formal contractor communication methods, document management systems etc. Processes:
• Demonstrated familiarity with assurance processes, including knowledge in project management processes, risk assessments/risk management, value improvement processes, best practices and technical qualification processes.
• Participate in Engineering Team iHAZID ‘s, HAZOP, SMS AS2885 Be part of a cross-functional, multi-discipline team by:
• Assisting in developing a team charter for the project with clarity on objectives for such a team, its make-up, expected deliverables and tentative timeline for delivering objectives.
• Engaging the additional resources required to generate a broad range of doable alternatives and assess these alternatives against the endorsed decision criteria
• Engaging with the appropriate intra-Company and State Government agency resources to assure agreement on scope, execution and schedule for delivering the DomGas pipeline project Support the

Project’s Incident- and Injury-Free objectives by:
• Learning and following all procedures and processes that assure one’s safety and health
• Acting to address unsafe acts and conditions
• Building relationships and making commitments to show care and concern for others
• Preparing and delivering an IIF implementation plan consistent with Project Resource Company’s protocol

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
University degree in engineering or project management.
10-15 years relevant experience in developing and executing onshore pipeline projects.
5+ years experience in designing and managing custody metering stations for natural gas.
Prior experience in engineering and/or project management roles.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to formulate objectives and strategies for detail design for a natural gas pipeline along with delivering those detailed work plans.
Assist in building and participating in a high-performing teams, project management.
Professional but personable interactive skills; ability to build and maintain cooperative/collaborative relationships, creative/innovative, self-motivated; strong oral and written language skills; effective planner and follow-up skills; driven to deliver on commitments
