The Role:
Description/Comment: Roles & Responsibilities
Requires a certificate from a recognized technical school in the field of computer drafting, an associate’s degree or equivalent in the computer drafting or engineering technology related field with 10-20 years of experience in applying the discipline skill(s) to oil gas facilities projects. Familiar with most of the discipline’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks while effectively managing the interfaces. May lead and direct the work of others. Demonstrate breadth in applying skills to different project phases and working knowledge/experience in other related disciplines. May be accountable for work package HSE, quality, schedule and cost performance. Resolves highly complex technical issues and provides technical assurance in areas of discipline expertise. Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor. Project Leader for smaller to midsize projects.

Develop/optimize site and facilities equipment general arrangements and layouts in cost effective manner utilizing international codes, & standards, Human Factors Engineering and best practices in the areas of HSSE, ergonomics, operations, equipment design and construction in support of Greenfield, Brownfield, and Surveillance engineering projects. i.e.:
• AutoDesk suite of applications (AutoCAD; Inventor, Civil 3D, Map)
• AVEVA suite of PDMS applications (DRAFT, DESIGN, Catalog & Specs, REVIEW, PDMS Global)
• Smart Plant suite – SPI & SPPID applications
• 3D bathymetry (topographic)/Geometric data interfaces
• Industry Laser scanning & Point Cloud technology
