The Role:
Operations Completion Engineer (Senior) Aberdeen

Primary Purpose of the Job

The Operations Completion Engineer is responsible for the execution of well completions in a safe and efficient manner. The incumbent is responsible for delivering the completion from design concept to installed equipment.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
• Exhibit safe behaviors at all times when on company property and/or on company business
• Comply with all HSEQ policies and standards
• Apply the HSEQ Management System as appropriate to the relevant area of the business
• Comply with Well Design and Operations Management Standards, Statutory Regulations and Industry Guidance Notes.
• Preparation of completion programmes.
• Managing procurement and delivery of completion equipment.
• Managing and supporting the execution of the completion phase in a safe and effective way through work instruction reviews, rig calls and direct technical support.
• Engaging and managing service companies in delivery of required services in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
• Organising CWOPs, after action reviews, Risk Assessments and HAZOPs.
• Time, cost and manpower (offshore) estimating and report.
• Technical review and input into design concept and equipment selection.
• Support and liaise with QA/QC function in ensuring delivery of fit for purpose equipment.
• Participate in technical peer reviews as requested.
• Developing ITTs as required for completion equipment and services.
• Indirect supervision of offshore Completion Supervisor

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Significant offshore exposure in completion practices Required
Knowledge of subsea completion installation practices Required
Experience in the installation of sand screens and fluid practices Required
Knowledge of well testing equipment and systems Required
Competent understanding of well barrier philosophy Required
Understanding of core testing procedures and fluid compatibility testing Required
Good written and oral communication Required
Strong analytical and verbal reasoning skills Required
