The Role:
Only candidates who already have the rights to work in Azerbaijan will be considered for this role

Driller is responsible to the Senior Toolpusher for the day to day operation on the installation and for the health and safety of their crew and any others working under their authority.

Key responsibilities:
 To maintain daily drilling records including accurate and effective handovers;
 To observe and monitor well conditions through drilling parameters. In the event of downhole problems, take appropriate action;
 Plan towards operations such that they can be carried out in a safe and efficient manner and contingency equipment and plans are accounted for;
 To supply information for drilling report i.e. mud figures and chemicals used;
 To be responsible for the supervision of personnel engaged in activities in their area of responsibility or for which they have been allocated responsibility by their supervisor;
 To monitor, supervise and coach any Service company or Vendor company representatives that may be involved in the operations on the rig;
 To make pre-kick calculations and ensure that all equipment and procedures for well control are in place at all times;
 To attend onshore or offshore meetings and additional training, as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Required general qualifications of the candidate:
• Higher education;
• Attain and maintain an accredited Well Control (IWCF) or WellCAP certification ( IADC) at the Driller level;
• At least 3 year experience in the relevant field;
• Managing team;
• Ambition to succeed;
• Multilingual (Azeri, English, Russian);
• Software skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Outlook).
