The Company:
Our Client has operations in the world's most important oil and gas regions and are leaders in working in extremely difficult environments. They have interests in many offshore producing fields in the UK, including five operated fields and five partner-operated fields. The company also has interests in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, the Netherlands and Norway. The client is the largest private producer of oil in Kazakhstan and the top O&G producer in Thailand.

The Role:
Responsible for planning and operations input as well as execution for drilling development wells offshore.

Work independently to perform technical drilling engineering for well design, cost estimates, project planning and review of rig design, overall major project drilling operations for performance optimization.

Participate in field reviews, peer reviews, optimization studies, and local operational knowledge/experience gathering.

Wells are managed from the cradle to the grave, all 5 phases of CPDEP, in this position.

Other duties will include contract Management, performance tracking, writing SOP's, offshore visits, and onshore Drilling Superintendent relief.

This position will work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop drilling programs, AFEs, and fit-for-purpose well designs and will assist the Superintendent in day to day execution activities, and support HSE in all aspects.

The position will also be responsible for managing a drilling services contract, both strategically and tactically on a daily basis across all operations, working to CHESM guidelines.

Initially this position will be addressing a new operation start up from scratch requiring all contracts and materials to be put in place.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BS, MS optional BSc(Hons) or MSc (UK)

Experience in, drilling and completion optimization, directional drilling and work over operations, well servicing (coiled tubing, acidizing, lift boat operations) including program development and operational execution .

Offshore operational Drilling experience.

Ability to coordinate a multitude of personnel and equipment in a fast paced multi-tasking drilling & completions environment.
