The Company:
Our client is a large Owner/Operator with their Canadian operations based out of Calgary, AB. They are one Canadas largest integrated oil companies focusing on the exploration and production of oil, natural gas and sulphur. Their projects are located throughout Canada focusing on the Oil Sands, as well as Natural Gas extraction throughout Alberta and BC.

Work location would be Grand Prairie, AB.

The Role:
As a Drilling Engineer Manager you would be responsible for the following:


In depth familiarity with a wide variety of the discipline's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Perform a variety of tasks and leads and directs the work of others.
Provides expert consultation in one or more areas for the design, development and implementation of technical products and systems.
Report to higher level supervisor or manager.
Discipline Head or Project Leader for small to midsize projects

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:

Requires a Masters (minimum of a bachelor's degree) in relevant technical field and may be have an advanced degree and/or at least 15-20 years of related experience in applying the discipline skill(s) to oil gas projects.
