The Company:
Our Client’s engineering division, has been a leader in the design of drilling facilities for offshore platforms worldwide for over 30 years. The company’s 700-strong workforce provides a range of engineering services from pre-project and Front End Engineering Design (FEED) through detail design, construction support, hook-up and commissioning.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of projects destined for world-wide locations.

Key Competencies:

• Familiarity with current major legislation and oil company HSE initiatives.
• Able to produce project reports to a high level.

Relevant Experience:

•10 years’+ experience in multi-discipline engineering positions within the offshore Oil and Gas industry.
• Good understanding of drilling process and requirements, preferably from exposure to actual drilling operations, either as drill crew, or within a supporting role.
• Experience of a broad range of drilling facilities design projects.
• Experience of both brownfield and new-build drilling facilities projects.

Required Personal Attributes:

• Strong desire to improve the operational safety and efficiency of drilling rigs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• BSc/ BEng or MSc/ MEng in an Engineering discipline.
• Membership of Professional Institution and Registration with the Engineering Council.
