The Company:
Our Client is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas companies. Their operations cover the entire energy chain, including oil exploration and production to trading, shipping and refining and marketing of petroleum products, as well as chemicals. The Role:
•Authorises, or if the situation warrants, suspends any job activity in the platform sector where he/she is responsible.
•Is responsible for compliance with Company SIMOPS procedure as delegated by the OIM through the ISSOW system.
•Shall be fully aware of all Drilling operating Instructions / Operating Change Records / Platform Directives / Standing Instructions.
•Maintains general awareness of all CMS procedures and fully conversant with those applicable to the ISSOW system.
•Ensures that all ISSOW mandatory stipulations are in place prior to final permit issue by NAA Area Authority.
•Performs safety audits as per WCM SHE audit plan. Reports and documents findings to Total Drilling Superintendent & Senior Drilling Supervisor.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of offshore Drilling, Well Completion and Intervention operations.
Basic knowledge of fluid and gas mechanics and hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic controls should be complemented by relevant experience in offshore operations.
Good knowledge of platform systems, processes and operating parameters.
Ability to read and understand P & ID drawings.
Understanding of isolation standards in TEPUK.
Knowledge of the Permit to Work System (ISSOW).
ISSoW trained level 3.
Application of Task Risk Assessment methodology.
Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate Safe Working Practices.
SAP familiar and trained to level to be able to raise maintenance or modification notifications.
Ability to use sound rational judgement in decision-making.
Computer skills.
Good logical problem solving skills.
Have good communication skills and the ability to interact with personnel at all levels and direct, co ordinate and organise work of production and maintenance personnel.
