The Company:
Our client is one of the largest oil and gas companies in WA.

The Role:
To manage the day to day Logistics support requirements for wells operations and coordinate associated services and interfaces in support of SDA Logistics. Management of the interfaces between wells and logistics operations will be a key component of this role. Monitoring, and reviewing actual requirements against planning and scheduling, with optimum utilisation of resources and cost will form the basis of the role profile. The position will be responsible for managing the HSSE risks and performance of all offshore related logistics activities. They will work closely with Logistics Service Operations department to ensure efficient and on time delivery of materials and equipment to the offshore location. a focus will be applied to managing the various logistics interfaces between the SDA wells discipline and operations stakeholders at the well site. The position is located aboard the offshore drilling unit and functions on 21/21, 12 hour working day FIFO roster ex Perth.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Champion safety and environmental performance of logistics activities and operations offshore
• Actively participate as an integral part of the SDA logistics team to achieve operational excellence and improvements in service levels for all logistics support Services
• Manage Offshore Logistics support operations, and associated interfaces including;
o Drilling Logistics
o Lifting & Hoisting
o Marine support
o Aviation support
• Manage materials & equipment movements to and from the offshore facility.
• Manage company inventory in consultation with Wells stakeholders
• Assist in development of logistics stakeholder interfaces & relationships
• Provide innovation and opportunity to achieve Logistics Operational Excellence in the planned and efficient management of logistics services to the Wells operations group.
• Ensure full compliance with HSSE Standards & Procedures
• Achieve excellent customer service performance and capture opportunities for service improvements.
• Other logistics related activities as directed

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Professional qualification in Supply Chain/Logistics management, or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience in Logistics Operations management and/or offshore drilling operations, preferably in E&P or related support industry.
• Experience with managing batch setting and completions equipment is highly desirable


Technical
• Strong operational background and significant logistics experience on drilling operations.
• Experience in implementing standards & procedures including Aviation, Marine, Lifting & Hoisting and offshore operations.
