The Company:
Our client are the leading UK independent oil operator in the North Sea with a dynamic management team and exciting growth plans to develop operations further in the UKCS. Working within a multi-disciplinary team and reporting directly to the Completions Planning Team Lead, you will be responsible for planning, supervising and supporting the execution of Company well completion, workover and abandonment activities, ensuring that they comply with all safety and technical standards while remaining

The Role:
Well operations material control and logistics co-ordination onshore to include receipt/dispatch, generation of air/sea freight cargo manifests/dangerous goods and SEPA documentation, control of all rental equipment and tangibles including well specific allocation and issue. Provision of general logistics support to client management including; supply vessel/anchor handler planning discharge and loading, and helicopter flight coordination. Under the direction and supervision on a day to day basis of the Drilling Superintendent, to co-ordinate, monitor and control the Well Operations Logistics requirements thus ensuring timely and cost effective operations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (key tasks/services for which incumbent is responsible)
 Liaise with the onshore Warehouse Materials and Logistics Superintendent on a daily basis on operational & safety issues.
 Liaise with Duty Holder/Contractor Offshore Materials regarding offload & loading of cargo onto supply vessels.
 Liaise with client Drilling Supervisors to identify material requirements.
 Liaise direct with client/Duty Holder/Contractor procurement/logistic personnel on a regular basis.
 Responsible for order, receipt, call off, issue and control of tangibles and consumables for the well.
 Responsible for the timely raising of requisitions for ad-hoc requirements.
 Responsible for tracking of rental equipment and the generation of reports via Excel/Data Write/CTX for Drilling Superintendent to include in daily cost reports.
 Responsible for ensuring completion of end of well reconciliation’s and inventory reports.
 Responsible for preparation of cargo manifests for air and sea, dangerous goods declarations and SEPA documentation.
 Responsible for the in-field control of vessels.
 Responsible for ensuring the Excel based/Data Write materials management system is kept up to date.
 Supervise and co-ordinate vessels arrival, discharge and back load.
 Perform duties with due regard to own safety and that of colleagues.
 Comply fully with the OMS safety procedures and policies.
 Ensure compliance with Custom & Excise requirements for fuel oil end use etc.
 Organise delivery/return of vendor/contractor rental equipment, in a timely manner.
 Support the development, implementation and maintenance of the company’s Safety Management System as defined in the BMS.
 Manage and coordinate flight bookings for drilling and contractor personnel
 Together with the Offshore logistics coordinator, maintain and publish the daily “Lookahead” in close liaison with the Drilling Supervisor/Drilling Superintendent

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
 Self-motivated team player with ability and desire to take responsibility and drive workloads to effective resolution.
 Ability to contribute to the team but equally work on own initiative.
 Drives effective information sharing. Helps others build their networks and use a range of contacts inside and outside the client.
 Able to make effective decisions quickly within level of own competence, and will refer to the Drilling Supervisor wherever required. Helps to identify problems and stakeholders and drives resolution in a timely fashion
 Able to identify areas for improvement and change.
 Able to interface across the materials and logistics organisations in an offshore environment and can demonstrate the ability to bring different contractor and company personnel together to form a cohesive, high-performing team
 Able to contribute to problem solving, and be able to troubleshoot and develop sound recommendations.
 Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Excel

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Appropriate industry learning and training experiences in specialised subjects such as cementing, directional drilling, etc.
 Specific drilling materials experience, preferably with an Operating Oil Company.
 Previous experience and knowledge of operating computer based materials management system is preferred
