The Company:
Leading global consultancy providing professional services across major EPC contracts.

The Role:
The Drilling specialist is responsible for reviewing, assessing and managing the scope of works relevant to their specialization of the allocated FEED/EPC package under the directions of their delegated Lead Project Engineer and Project Managers in the Oil and Gas, petrochemical or infrastructure industries.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensuring that the job progress as per schedule
Review, participate, guide and manage the FEED/EPC contractor in developing the scope of works as defined in the various Work Entity Releases (WER's)
Provide technical support to the project management team and engage on any speciality services related to the discipline required
Resolves speciality related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline
15 - 20 years of relevant experience in drilling rig design and construction projects
Has been involved with projects in the FEED stage and has extensive knowledge and experience in reviewing engineering documents and drawings.
Thorough knowledge of engineering practises and economic principles, calculations methods, design details
Good working knowledge of international standard
Project management process experience
Drilling operational experience is a plus
