The Company:
Our Client operates globally in the Oil, Gas and Energy Industry. Our client operates on various UK oil and gas projects. This role supports projects in the South West of England.

The Role:
Job Overview:
To assist and support the Office and Site Teams as required, in Cost, Technical support and Planning, and Logistic Co-ordination. The individual will be flexible to enable a high quality of technical support to be offered across the department.


Drilling Cost Accounting
• Prepare / assist cost forecasts for each well activity.
• Maintain a listing of MSR orders raised against each cost code for invoicing use.
• Oversee purchase order values against invoices to monitor order overspend
• Maintain a daily cost tracking system for equipment on location to allow comparison between budgets and estimated spend, and a daily rig cost to be produced.
• Maintain records of invoices received
• Check all stock transactions against workover and drilling team cost codes.
• Liaise with Accounts to transfer any mis-allocated costs.
• Help Complete end of well reconciliations and final well cost reports.
• Help Review spend during and after activities and advise on reasons for overspend / possible cost reductions

Technical Support and Planning
• Assist in completion of e MOC's for all workovers / drilling
• Assist in the management of site related facilities issues such as equipment layouts, camp positioning, service supplies and site preparation prior to Rig arrival on site.
• Assist in planning and logistics required for Rig moves
• Planning and creation of the Rig Schedule within the Drilling Department and communication of the rig schedule to the other Asset Teams via the project planning process
• Assist in the raising of MSRs for all Drilling and Workover activities
• Assist in ensuring current wells contracts align to planned activity.
• Support WSL with Wellsite handovers between Operations and Drilling / Workover Team.

Logistics Support

• Liaise with suppliers to confirm price and delivery.
• Highly and report on the timely return of equipment and materials.
• Creating and sending manifest/consignment notes to supplier
• Resolving any delivery or returns discrepancies with Suppliers
• In agreement with the WSL/time planner, call out of equipment and personnel as required
• Minimize onsite equipment wherever possible, ensure trailers and all long term rentals are audited regularly and managed as per all other rental equipment.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Key Skills:
The individual must express a strong ability to self-supervise and deliver a very high standard of MS Excel and MS Word required, use of MS Project an advantage.
Engineering / logistics or accounts background also an advantage but not essential.
