The Company:
Our client is one of Australia's largest exploration and production companies and a key energy provider in both the domestic and international marketplace. They have significant interests in offshore exploration, coal seam gas and renewable energy with a major commitment to safety, quality, and environmental issues.

The Role:
Working on this Greenfield Coal Seam Gas (CSG) project, as the E & I Commissioning Engineer, you will report to the Gas Processing Facilities (GPF) Site Commissioning Lead and assist to deliver E&I from construction to completion through commissioning to handover. You will ensure all planned and optimised schedule targets are achieved via the Completion Commissioning Management System; and all commissioning activities are completed with stringent adherence to Company HSSE policies.

During the Delivery Execution phase you will:
• Ensure integrated approach with gathering / development, pipelines and water treatment operations; defining requirements for commissioning operations and verify FAT at the manufacturer's work. Participate in engineering and process safety reviews, and ensure commissioning risks are identified and managed effectively.

During the Project Construction phase you will:
• Monitor contractor completion activities; assist in the development of check sheets and assign to assets for completion activities; monitor mechanical completion status / reports; and review construction plans and advise system priorities and define system limits and develop system packages, including validation of all assets into the system packages.

Pre-Commissioning / Commissioning phase you will:
• Monitor and assist in pre commissioning activities as required; and assist contractor to work towards agreed and agreed handover criteria.
• Monitor commissioning work in progress, supervise all personnel engaged in E + I commissioning activities; develop multi discipline wet and process commissioning procedures and handover documentation.
• Assist in the development of commissioning resource plans to ensure training and competent personal to deliver the commissioning phase of the project.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering Discipline e.g., Electrical, Instrumentation
• Minimum of 10 years experience with Oil & Gas global project
• Substantial site and commissioning experience
• Demonstrated Electronic Completions System experience
• Experience working within High Voltage and Hazardous Area
• Knowledge of Design Principles and Risk Review will be advantageous
