The Company:
Our client, a major Oil & Gas Owner/Operator, is seeking expertise for their on going mega projects in Alberta.

The Role:
E&I Superintendent:

This is a site based night shift position. The rotation is 14 days on / 7 days off. Camp accommodation and flights will be provided by the client.

Main Functions:

• Oversee site contractor during Execution Phase
• Serve as member of the Project Management Team (PMT)
• Provide the PMT interface between the work face and the Site Manager

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring safe and successful execution of construction activities in their area
• Participates in the Project Management Team
• Serves as day-to-day interface with construction contractor / craft labor during the execution phase, providing a focus on safety, quality, cost and schedule
• Provides safety monitoring / leadership
• Interfaces with QA/QC personnel to address quality issues / progress
• Provides oversight of contractor’s materials management / verification systems
• Ensures compliance with specifications, procedures and plans
• Monitors workforce productivities / progress relative to schedule
• Monitors environmental compliance, as required
• Interfaces with contractor for field level changes, e.g., scope, costs, etc.
• Verifies post-site arrival of procured equipment and engineering equipment
• Serves as liaison with Site Manager on barriers / emerging issues
• Provides pre-commissioning / mechanical completion oversight / verification
• Supervises the mechanical completion phase and transition to the final hookup and commissioning phase
(punch list management via EPC contractor)
• Coordinates construction foremen
• Coordinates quality audits
• Assist in early site construction planning/construction planning interface with EPC contractor prior to site mobilization

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 15-25 years site experience
